The Information Technology (IT) curriculum prepares graduates for employment in the
technology sector as designers, testers, support technicians, system administrators,
developers, or programmers who use computer software and\or hardware to design, process,
implement and manage information systems in specialties such as database services,
security, business intelligence, healthcare informatics and others depending on the
technical path selected within this curriculum.
The IT: Cyber Security curriculum provides students with comprehensive knowledge and
skills in information security, preparing them to protect data and systems from cyber
threats. Coursework covers topics such as network security, database concepts, introduction
to programming and logic, system analysis and design and Linux/UNIX single user. Students
will learn to implement security measures, conduct vulnerability assessments, and
respond to security incidents. The program emphasizes the importance of maintaining
confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information, equipping graduates for
roles such as security analysts, cybersecurity specialists, and information security
managers in various industries.
