Information Technology - Data Management
The Information Technology (IT) curriculum prepares graduates for employment in the
technology sector as designers, testers, support technicians, system administrators,
developers, or programmers who use computer software and\or hardware to design, process,
implement and manage information systems in specialties such as database services,
security, business intelligence, healthcare informatics and others depending on the
technical path selected within this curriculum.
The IT: Data Management curriculum equips students with the skills necessary to manage
data effectively across various platforms and systems. This includes the ability to
design, implement, and maintain databases, ensuring data integrity, security, and
accessibility. Students will learn to use data management tools and techniques to
support business intelligence, healthcare informatics, and other specialized fields.
The coursework emphasizes the importance of data governance, data quality, and the
ethical use of data, preparing graduates for roles such as database administrators,
data analysts, and data managers in diverse sectors.
